WORK DESCRIPTION: KITCHEN RENOVATION
- Remove the existing counter tops and cabinets.
- Remove the existing wall and floor tiles.
- Remove the existing ceiling.
- Carry out building alterations (brickwork,
windows, doors etc) - Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the new position of the sink.
- Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the new position of
the preparation basin. - Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the washing machine. Install
the shut off tap. - Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the dish washer. Install
the shut off tap. - Electrician to install new cables etc for the new lights, power
points and stove/oven power supply. - Preparation to the walls and floor for tiling and skim plasters.
- Install the new ceiling boards and skim plaster with one coat
Rhino Lite. - Apply a Rhino Lite plaster to exposed walls
- Tile the floor and grout.
At this stage
the kitchen units to be installed and the counter tops positioned.
- Tile the walls and grout.
- Tile the kick plinths and grout.
- Install the ceiling cornice.
- Install the sink and preparation basin, connect to the water and waste.
- Preparation for and paint the ceiling, walls, windows, doors and
frames. - Electrician to complete electrics. Install stove and ovens.
- Install the wall fittings (towel
rails etc) and silicone seal at sink, basin and counter tops. - Install the washing machine, dish washer and fridge freezer.
- Remove the contract refuse and surplus materials from site on
completion.
NOTES
- All items removed from the Kitchen remains the property of the
owner. If so required, IG Home will arrange for Hospice to collect them for
their fund raising campaigns. - All electrical work should be carried out by a qualified
Electrician. - IG Home will arrange for all of the above if so instructed.
