Please see below general work description for bathroom renovations:
- Remove the existing bath, toilet, basin, vanity unit, wall and floor tiles.
- Remove the existing ceiling.
- Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the new
bath. Install the new mixer. - Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the new
basins. Install shut off valves. - Alteration to the water and waste pipe for the new toilet. Install the shut off valve.
- Alteration to the water and waste pipes for the new shower. Install the new mixer.
- Electrician to install new cables etc for new light and shaver point.
- Install the new ceiling boards and skim plaster with one coat Rhino Lite.
- Form the new shower tray with falls to the waste.
- Form the new shower bench.
- Apply a water proofing slurry to the shower walls and floor.
- Preparation to the walls for tiling.
- Preparation to the walls for a Rhino Lite plaster.
- Apply a Rhino Lite plasters to the exposed walls.
- Install the new bath with a solid base and brickwork surround.
- Tile the walls, and grout.
- Tile the floor and grout.
- Lay the shower floor mosaics and grout
- Install new ceiling cornice.
- Install the shower arm and rose.
- Install the toilet and connect to the water and waste.
- Install the vanity unit and basins and connect to the water and waste.
- Install the wall fittings (towel rails, toilet roll holder etc) and silicone seal at the vanity unit, basin and bath.
- Preparation for and paint the ceiling, walls, window, door and frame.
- Electrician to complete electrics.
- Remove the contract refuse and surplus materials from site on completion.
Notes
- All items removed from the Bathroom remains the property of the owner. If so required, IG Home will arrange for Hospice to collect them for their fund raising campaigns.
- The installation of the new shower door should be installed by a warranty approved fitter.
- All electrical work should be carried out by a qualified Electrician.
- IG Home will arrange for all of the above if so instructed.
