Five to Ten working days subject to the size of the bathroom, the design chosen and the extent of the works.

Will I have a bathroom for my family to use?

Most homes have two bathrooms and when both are effected during renovations, the room with the bath will be started first owing to the shower requiring a curing period of +/- 10 days before use. Toilets are mounted with fixing bolts to the floor and may be used on completion; Basins may also be used after connection to the water and waste.

What happens to the old sanitary ware and cupboards?

The items removed from the bathrooms or kitchen remains the property of the owner. Many charities will be glad to collect the items for resale and a telephone call will put this into action. But if so desired IG Home will dispense of them.

Will the building refuse be removed?

The building rubble will be removed from site on completion of all work. An area exterior of the property, with access for a truck will be required to store the refuse. The cost of removal shall form part of the contract price. Paper & cardboard will be placed exterior of your property for the local recycle company to collect.

Will the renovation of my bathrooms increase my water pressure?

Your water pressure is determined firstly by the municipal supply and thereafter by your pressure rating on your hot water geyser. Replacing your taps or mixers may not help a low pressure situation and in some cases the new mixers chosen may require high and balanced water pressure supply to function as designed. Inspection of the supply will if possible result in a solution.
